Starting weight: 52 kgsCurrent Weight: 50.8 kgsTotal Loss: 1.2 kgsGoal weight: 48 kgs
I am pretty happy with my progress, i am getting back into exercising often, and it seems to be working :) 

Weigh in Week 2

I am pretty happy with my progress, i am getting back into exercising often, and it seems to be working :) 

Is this a good plan for tomorrow?

i’m trying not to count calories, so here goes:

Breakfast: Scrambled eggs + glass of milk

Recess: Chobani passionfruit yogurt + carrots with hummus

Lunch: Chicken salad + orange

Afternoon Tea: apple

Light workout in here (training session for sport, not very intense)

Dinner: Lab, vegies and mashed potato (not my choice, family cooks)

Dessert: (if i feel like it/ if i don’t have extras) banana ice cream - the one that i make myself, only has 1 banana in it all blended up. nom nom nom

any tips? should i change anything?

My curfew was the street lights! My mom called my name, not my cell. I played outside with friends, not online. If I didn’t eat what my mom cooked, then I didn’t eat. Sanitizer didn’t exist, but I COULD get my mouth washed out with soap. I rode a bike without a helmet, getting dirty was OK, and my neighbors looked out for me as much as my parents did. Went on such a good run this morning, i decided to try something different

i ususally just jog for like 30 minutes at a pretty good pace, but not overly pushing myself that much.

But today, i started with a 4 minute warm up of jogging at my normal pace, then i sprinted for 30 seconds, and then jogged for another 60 seconds, and repeated.
About halfway through i got a bit tired though so i changed to 30 sec sprint, then 30 second walking, then 30 second jogging. Then after 20 minutes of doing these sprint intervals, i did about a 5 min cool down of just normal jogging. I ended up being out for about 33 minutes in total, by accident haha. it was a new route i tried out

I  felt pretty tired after so i think it is more effective than just normal jogging but im not sure. Im trying to get faster so i can be better at my sport that im playing at the moment

i have realised i have gained back the majority of weight i lost at the start of last year, but im not that worried. i have been going through i lot in the last year, family issues etc, and my weight was definitely high on the priority list. Now that i have some time for myself, i am going to focus on getting back to a weight i was happy with.
Here is my plan:
-plan for 1200 calories a day. I usually have bites of things here and there, and o probably underestimate my intake/ amount anyway. This will definitely not be what i end up eating each day, but it is good to aim a little bit lower or i know i will go over.
- i can have dessert 2 times a week max. once i use those times up, there are no excuses. This is a big problem for me.
- drink as much tea as possible. at least once a day
- use my will power/ limit take away. just because everyone else is wanting fast food or wants to go out to eat, doesn’t mean i have to. i did this last year, i can do it again. 
- exercise properly at least 4 times a week. i used to manage 5 but i know i don’t have that much time especially with the amount of schoolwork i have to keep up with.
i will do this, it will make me feel so much better about myself :) plus i have a holiday to thailand later this year, so i need to get fit/ thinner and then maintain, so i don’t have to go to extremes in the few weeks before that

you can honestly ask any of my friends and they will tell you that i eat an unprecedented amount of ice cream (my favorite flavor is mint chocolate chip) so this is great way to cut back on some a LOT of those calories


Here’s what you’ll need:

  • All natural, low fat vanilla yogurt
  • Blueberries
  • Strawberries
  • Waffle ice cream cones

This is what you do:

  • Wash, and slice strawberries
  • Wash blueberries
  • In waffle cone, add a spoon full of vanilla yogurt, then fruit, another spoonful of yogurt, and top it off with fruit. I wouldn’t recommend doing more then 2 layers. It gets kinda messy if you do… trust me ;)
  • Put cones in the freezer, just until they’re chilled..right before they start to freeze (about an hour) **or you could just eat em’ up, and skip the freezer :)

Here’s What I’m Thinking:

  • Calories: About 110 for one cone

other fun things to add: dark choc chips, almonds, raspberries, white choc chips, endless possibilities! (have fun with it)
